The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is an FCC program that helps connect families and households struggling to afford Internet service.
The benefit provides:
Up to $30/month discount for Internet service. The state of Maryland has a similar program which subsidizes an additional $15 discount. Together, a household could save up to $45 on Internet each month, making access FREE!!
Our Certified Fiber Optic Technicians (CFOTs) training prepares trainees for high paying career positions in the broadband construction field within six months. CFOTs have appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) in fiber optics that can be applied to almost any job (design, installation, operation) and almost any application (outside plant, premises, manufacturing, etc.).
Data Access One has received state and local funding to provide fiber optic high-speed and low-cost Internet to residences located in the Westport-Mt. Winans-Lakeland communities. The enhanced Internet service is combined with an overwhelming level of support. The high-speed service coupled with the ACP subsidy and superior customer support, will make this service very attractive to residents in the pilot project area.
